Brandon J. Hechtman focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, representing businesses and professionals in a variety of disputes. He has handled matters in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. Brandon also has significant experience representing healthcare providers and hospitals. Additionally, Brandon has trial and appellate experience in probate, trust, and guardianship matters.
Throughout his career Brandon has advised small, medium, and large businesses. Notably, Brandon was among the first attorneys to secure dismissal of a Helms Burton case that was affirmed on appeal. Brandon also has significant experience working at the trial and appellate levels on cases involving catastrophic injuries, real estate matters, and contract disputes throughout Florida and the Caribbean. In fact, Brandon has distinguished himself by working to resolve cases that have both domestic and international components. In the legal community, Brandon is recognized as a spirited, pragmatic, and creative advocate.
Brandon is a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar Association, the Virgin Islands Bar Association, the Washington D.C. Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association. The Dade County Bar recognized him as a Rising Superstar.
