Carlos Trujillo comments on cancel culture as Big Law tries to balance client interests and Governor Ron DeSantis’ political policies
While larger law firms are stepping away from potentially polarizing government representation, “boutiques like the Florida and Washington, D.C., government strategy and litigation firm Continental PLLC are ready to take advantage of the pull-back. In an April interview about the firm he recently co-founded, former Florida state Rep. Carlos Trujillo said the boutique would target ‘center-right’ clients who have become too risky for large firms, as well as Florida Republicans in election litigation.
‘It’s a product of cancel culture,’ Trujillo said at the time. ‘Companies find themselves in an untenable position of not satisfying either side.'”
