About

Anne Corcoran focuses her practice on project development and finance, with an emphasis on industrial development projects. Anne has spent over 20 years in private practice and has also worked as an assistant state attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit. Additionally, on a pro bono basis, Anne founded and managed a charter school, where she oversaw all legal issues including employment law, land use, contracts and charter school compliance. The charter school employed 90 people and served 1,000 students.

Anne has successfully represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation from case intake through final disposition at trial and appeals. Anne has significant legal writing experience including drafting pleadings, summary judgment motions, motions to compel, motions for sanctions, motions to dismiss, and appellate motions.

Anne’s ability to examine legal issues is informed by her experience with Florida’s legislative process and her familiarity with public policy and bill drafting considerations. She has served as counsel to the Florida House of Representatives in connection with the decennial redistricting process. She was also a member of a litigation team that investigated, filed, developed, managed, and settled a royalty case for contracts and fraud claims over a 10-year period for $30 million.

Prior to joining the firm, Anne practiced with several major national law firms. She was also a judicial intern for the Supreme Court of Florida (1998) and the Republican Office of the Florida House of Representatives (1996-1997). Anne has served the State of Florida as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the First (2005-2007) and Fifth (2000-2004) Judicial Circuits of Florida. In January 2020, Anne was appointed by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women.
