Continental PLLC Expands in Miami and Washington D.C. with Four Strategic Hires

Continental PLLC is pleased to welcome four accomplished attorneys to its Miami and Washington D.C. offices, expanding the firm’s white-collar, international arbitration, and campaign finance practices.

The law firm, founded by partners Carlos Trujillo, Jesus M. Suarez, and John Arrastia, Jr. attributes its growth in Washington D.C. to increased client demand since President Trump’s inauguration in January.

“The link between Florida and Washington D.C. is stronger than ever,” said Trujillo. “President Trump is the first Floridian elected President, and as a result, our Washington D.C. and Florida based lawyers are well positioned to deliver exceptional client outcomes.”

“With the addition of these outstanding attorneys, we are significantly broadening our capabilities in Washington D.C. and beyond,” said Suarez. “They each bring exceptional skill sets that will enhance our litigation and political practices, especially for clients navigating today’s unique legal and policy challenges.”

Stephen Demanovich, Partner – Former Counselor to U.S. Attorney Alina Habba in the District of New Jersey and Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida. His experience includes high-stakes litigation, white-collar crime, and government investigations.

Craig D. Gaver, Partner – Brings over a decade of experience in cross-border litigation and arbitration. Gaver has advised sovereign states, Fortune 500 corporations, and high net worth individuals on matters ranging from foreign investment protection and economic sanctions to sovereign immunity and debt recovery. He is admitted in Washington D.C., New York, Maryland, and England and Wales.

Alyssa M. Specht Garcia, Partner – Strengthens the firm’s election integrity, campaign finance, and ethics capabilities. She previously served as Counsel to a Federal Election Commission Commissioner, National Election Integrity Counsel at the Republican National Committee, and has led high-profile Election Day Operations initiatives nationwide.
