Continental PLLC Adds Ivan Feris and Brandi Gunder as Firm Continues to Grow

Continental PLLC is pleased to announce that Ivan Feris has rejoined the firm’s Miami office and Brandi Gunder has joined the firm in Tallahassee, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in complex litigation, government, and advisory matters.

The additions come as Continental continues to expand its team and deepen its bench across key practices and markets.

“We are continuing to build Continental deliberately, adding lawyers who bring exceptional judgment, substantive experience and a strong understanding of the clients we serve,” said Jesus M. Suarez, founding partner of Continental PLLC. “Ivan is a talented litigator who already knows our team and our approach, and Brandi brings a rare depth of experience in Florida government and public policy. Their additions strengthen two important areas of the firm and reflect the continued momentum we are seeing across our offices.”

Feris, who rejoins Continental in Miami, represents clients in complex commercial litigation, investigations and white-collar criminal defense matters. His experience includes high-stakes disputes involving antitrust, appellate litigation, legal malpractice claims, judgment enforcement and international arbitration. He was also part of the legal team representing President Donald Trump in the successful appeal of New York’s civil fraud judgment, which resulted in the reversal of a nearly $500 million monetary penalty.

Feris earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, where he graduated as salutatorian of his class.

Gunder joins Continental PLLC from Continental Strategy and will be based in the firm’s Tallahassee office. She advises clients on matters at the intersection of law, government and public policy, drawing on more than a decade of experience at the highest levels of Florida government.

Her background includes senior leadership roles in the Executive Office of the Governor, where she served as Acting Director, Budget Director and Deputy Budget Director of the Office of Policy and Budget and helped develop and oversee the Governor’s recommended state budget. She has also held leadership roles involving education policy, property tax oversight and fiscal accountability, giving her extensive experience working with state agencies, legislative leadership, local governments and senior executive officials.

Gunder earned her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.

The additions of Feris and Gunder are part of Continental’s continued expansion of the depth and breadth of its team to serve clients in sophisticated, high-stakes matters throughout Florida and beyond.
