Miami, FL – Continental PLLC is pleased to announce that John Arrastia, Jr., Partner, has established the J. Arrastia Master of Laws Grant at his alma mater, Cambridge University’s Jesus College. The grant will be awarded each year to assist an overseas student pursuing an LL.M. degree at the institution.
Arrastia’s passion for giving back to his alma mater stems from the exceptional education and opportunities he received while studying at Cambridge. Arrastia reflects, “My time at Jesus College was incredibly formative. I recognize the significance of a quality education and am grateful for the benefits I received. I’m truly honored to be able to help create opportunities for the next generation of legal professionals who will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the world.”
Throughout his career, Arrastia has served as a mentor to many students and young lawyers. He is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Foundation board of directors and has been highlighted as a “Champion of Diversity” by the Defense Research Institute’s For the Defense magazine. Arrastia is an experienced first chair trial attorney and trusted counselor in business, commercial, and fraud disputes. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, fiduciaries, government and quasi-governmental entities.
