Continental PLLC Partner John Arrastia, Jr. is a Board member of the Hispanic National Bar Foundation and serves on the planning committee for the HNBF’s upcoming 2023 Future Latino Leaders Summer Law Institute in Washington D.C.
The HNBF’s unique program aims to inspire Hispanic students to pursue careers in law, supporting the HNBF’s mission to increase diversity in the legal profession. Each summer, students from across the country spend a week in Washington D.C. connecting with lawyers, expanding their network, and learning from influential leaders within the community.
“Empowering and inspiring the next generation of Hispanic lawyers is not just about diversity and representation; it’s about opening doors, breaking barriers, and building a stronger legal profession,” said Arrastia.
A longtime supporter of empowering the next generation, Arrastia has served as a mentor to many students and young lawyers throughout his career. He has been highlighted as a “Champion of Diversity” by the Defense Research Institute’s For the Defense magazine.
Arrastia is an experienced first chair trial attorney and trusted counselor in business, commercial, and fraud disputes. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, fiduciaries, government and quasi-governmental entities.
