Continental PLLC Law Firm’s Growth Continues With New Hires And Promotion Of New Partner

Miami, FL – Litigation and government relations law firm, Continental PLLC, is pleased to welcome its newest attorneys, Carmen Manrara Cartaya and Amanda Lopez-Cardet; and to announce the elevation of attorney Angelo Castaldi to partner in the firm.

Carmen Manrara Cartaya will focus her practice on labor and employment and complex commercial litigation. She will lead the firm’s newly launched Labor & Employment practice group. Prior to joining the firm, Cartaya was a trial attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Miami District Office and prior to that, she worked for a global law firm, where she focused her practice on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation. She began her career as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge, Federico A. Moreno, in the Southern District of Florida.

Continental PLLC is also pleased to announce that Angelo Castaldi has been promoted to partner in the firm. Castaldi represents clients in a broad range of complex business litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and financial restructuring matters. Those clients have included fiduciaries, creditor committees, companies, and individuals across a variety of industries and disputes in state, federal district, and bankruptcy courts.  Castaldi joined the Firm at its inception in 2022 along with the Firm’s founding members and has since been involved in several noteworthy cases, including the representation of the official committee of unsecured creditors and post-confirmation trustee appointed in the largest municipal restructuring in U.S. history.

The firm also announced the hiring of attorney Amanda Lopez-Cardet to support its expanding portfolio of litigation and government affairs matters. 

Lopez-Cardet is an Associate who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Continental PLLC, Amanda was an associate at a Florida-based defense law firm and was an intern for the Honorable Judge Kathleen M. Williams of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Senaris is an Associate who focuses on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation matters.
